Job Description:
As our Social Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that integrate both subjects seamlessly. You will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students about the importance of understanding different cultures, religious practices, historical events, and their impact on society. Your creativity and enthusiasm will be key in fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment where students can explore these topics with open minds.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that encompass both social studies and religious studies.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Encourage critical thinking, open discussions, and respectful dialogue among students
- Promote cultural understanding, empathy, and global citizenship
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Stay updated on current events, historical developments, and religious practices to provide accurate and relevant information
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and appreciation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, Religious Studies, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of social studies and various religious traditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Open-mindedness, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diverse beliefs
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Adaptability to meet the needs of different student populations
