Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the parish campus, including but not limited to; grounds, exterior of buildings, landscaping, sidewalks, plant/flower beds, school playground, soccer field, school yard, blacktop, and parking lotsRate of Pay: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Part-time employees are not offered benefits other than what is required by law; Worker's Compensation, FMLA unpaid leave, CO HFWA: 1 Hour of Sick Time per 30 hours worked
Normal Working Hours: 25 Hours per Week, Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Reports to: The Pastor, the Maintenance Manager, the Business Manager, and their representatives
Duties:
• Clean grounds of all trash, cigarette butts, and leaves, clean/clear drains and gutters
• Sweep sidewalks removing the bark, rocks, leaves, ash and dirt.
• Be Available as needed to clear snow from sidewalks
• Check all grounds to ensure that they have been maintained and are clear of safety concerns. Inform the Maintenance Manager if there are areas of concern, discuss a solution, and correct any items as needed.
• Spray/Pull weeds (Seasonal)
• Trim Trees and Bushes (Seasonal)
• Repair Plant and Flower Beds
• Stripe Parking Lots Lines as needed
• Clean exterior of all windows at parish center, church and first floor of school
• Help Maintenance Manager with maintenance items as needed, particularly when school is out
• Any additional duties assigned by the Pastor, the Maintenance Manager, or the Business Manager
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform general labor tasks for up to 8 hours a day, including breaks
Must be able to work on some weekends and Holidays depending on weather
Maintain a valid Driver's License
