Job Description
Regina Coeli Academy (RCA), a private Catholic school located in Abington, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Head of School for the 2024-2025 school year. RCA is an independent school providing classical education for first through eighth grades, and Montessori education for pre-kindergarten through kindergarten.For over 20 years, Regina Coeli Academy has humbly served its mission to develop the faith and reason of the school community, preserving Catholic tradition consistent with the Magisterium of the Church. The Head of School will provide tactical leadership in the service of the school's mission consistent with the strategy developed by the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities will include:
Providing overall leadership and direction of the School
Overseeing the daily management of the School and office
Monitoring the performance and conduct of all faculty and staff
Developing and executing RCA's Catholic Classical Curriculum and
Faith formation programs, respectively
Engaging parents and families and building a distinctly Catholic community
Developing and overseeing the implementation of safety procedures
The Head must exhibit dedication to the mission of Regina Coeli Academy by living his or her faith consistent with the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and through extensive knowledge of Catholic Church teaching, as well as classical and Montessori education. The Head will also have excellent administrative and management skills, strong communication skills and a commitment to developing and fostering relationships.
