JOB DETAILS
Presently, we seek an individual to plan and implement multifaceted school development and marketing programs aimed at ensuring continued growth in local funds to support Catholic Schools and promoting the value of Catholic education through marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
Coordinate the establishment of a diocesan-wide marketing council
Review, mentor and provide guidance and feedback to each school regarding its respective marketing plan; Provide training opportunities, guides and materials for individual schools
Identify and solicit grants from major foundations and corporations on behalf of parochial schools; Coordinate the grant writing process
Work closely with pastors, school personnel, advisory boards and deanery representatives on related marketing and development plans and projects
Represent the Diocese of Metuchen on NJ Catholic Schools Marketing Council, the Strategic Planning Committee, the School Budget Review Committee and other boards/committees as requested
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Development/Fund Raising or Education from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Religious Requirement: Must be a practicing Roman Catholic who upholds the teaching and traditions of the Catholic Church and who possesses a sound working knowledge of the Catholic faith and Church hierarchy
