Job Summary:
The International Programs Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment, selection and staff care for the International Development Fellows Program, the Intern Program and the Volunteer Program as an active member of the Recruitment Team.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Support the Fellow, Intern and Volunteer programs in fostering professional, high quality programs that serve as models both within and outside CRS.
2. Provide administrative support to program officers in administering and executing high quality programming.
3. Ensure adequate communication about programs to participants and stakeholders.
4. Maintain relationships with program participants and stakeholders at universities and in the field.
5. Develop and maintain sharepoint and interactive web tools.
6. Proactively assist with the development and implementation of orientations, workshops and on-line learning sessions.
7. Coordinate logistical support for meetings, workshops, interviews, orientations and placements of Fellows, Interns and Volunteers.
8. Suggest innovations to support programs.
9. Field and respond to telephone, email or other inquiries regarding the Fellows, Intern and Volunteer programs.
10. Draft correspondence and reports as needed and appropriate.
11. Maintain records, including a database, spreadsheets, and files of applicants and participants of Fellows, Interns and Volunteer programs.
12. Support the Recruitment and the Human Resources strategies with processes as needed.
13. Perform other duties as appropriate.
Key working Relationships:
Internal: Immediate supervisor and department staff, other CRS department heads and stakeholders, Fellows and Volunteers
External: Universities, Candidates for Intern, Volunteer and Fellows programs
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree (BA or BS)
2. Minimum one year international or cross-cultural work or volunteer experience.
3. A commitment to and passion for international programs.
4. A commitment to CRS' guiding principles.
5. Strong administrative and office skills required.
6. High proficiency with MS Office Software, including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
7. Foreign Language: A working knowledge of French, Spanish or Portuguese is desirable but not required.
8. Outstanding interpersonal skills.
