Job Summary/Background:
The Application Developer will be responsible for development and maintenance of SharePoint applications and integration of those applications with other CRS systems.

Job Responsibilities:
Application Development:

1. Participate in visualization and systems requirements elicitation sessions and review resulting requirements specifications
2. Develop and document preliminary and detailed designs in response to requirements specifications.
3. Implement designs and conduct unit and integration tests
4. Support system and user acceptance testing and resolve identified errors
5. Document as-built systems and produce maintenance guides Application Maintenance
6. Respond to trouble tickets, triage, and isolate faults
7. Design, build, implement, and test application defect repairs and small enhancements

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Key Working Relationships:

Internal: Applications Department Manager, Application Developers, System Development Director, and Business Unit Process Owners.

External: Vendors, Consultants

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
2. Minimum six years of experience as an application developer, two years experience with SharePoint and related applications.
3. Experience in all phases of the application development and maintenance lifecycle
4. In-depth knowledge of application design, development, unit test, and system integration best practices.
5. Solid understanding of Objected Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and N-Tier application architecture
6. Extensive knowledge of and experience with SharePoint and SharePoint related applications
7. Experience developing applications for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 including workflow and InfoPath Forms Services
1. Experience with .NET 2.0/3.0
2. Experience with the design and development of custom SharePoint web parts
3. Solid experience with UI development (WebForms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT)and business logic development
4. Experience with cold fusion application development and/or integration desirable
