Job Description
Work in collaboration with faculty and staff in a caring, Catholic, community-oriented 2yo - 8th grade school. Ability to address the needs of students in a diverse learning environment. Has strong math and literacy skills and technology integration. Responsible for planning, instruction, and management for third grade.Job duties:
Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and state standards.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student learning, growth and development.
Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs or learning difficulties.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
Evaluate student progress regularly and provide feedback to students, parents and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance and use data to inform instructional decision-making.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and other concerns.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events as required.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
State certification in elementary education.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience in elementary classrooms.
Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques for teaching third grade students.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special needs or learning difficulties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.
