PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Manager of Enterprise Systems will lead a team of Software Developers and Business Intelligence Developers. This role enables OCP to technologically deliver, enhance, and operate the computing systems and processes that run OCP's internal systems, customer-facing applications and databases. As the Manager of Enterprise Systems you will use your experience related to managing ERP systems, CRM, system integrations, data migration, and software development to build solutions consisting of custom development and off the shelf software products.

The Manager of Enterprise Systems is a key leadership role within the Information Technology division. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of IT Technical Services, Manager of Application Development, Manager of IT Operations and Director of IT to help implement software solutions that utilize modern development technologies. The Information Technology division works in a LAMP environment, embraces cloud-based systems, supports and integrates to major business platforms, Microsoft business applications, and follows Agile practices.

This role is a hybrid position based in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategically translates business needs into systems solutions through business analysis, technology analysis, modeling/prototyping, research, collaboration, specification design, and project management.

• Primary accountability for the integration, accuracy and availability of the ERP, CRM, collaboration, and customer-facing systems and business data.

• Ensures that OCP's financial, customer, product, fulfillment, marketing, and sales systems/data are accurate and available.

• Establishes and preserves processes, standards, and infrastructure for the continuous (24x7x365) operation of OCP's internal and external systems.

• Provides visible leadership and articulates integrated strategies for the execution of new development projects.

• Provide leadership in progressing projects through the software lifecycle utilizing agile methodologies.

• In collaboration with product managers and customer service leaders, coordinates operational maintenance, support, and enhancements for internal systems, online properties, and their integrations.

• Manages departmental staff and contractor resources to achieve project, departmental, and company goals.

• Assist the development team with complex problems.

• Team with Senior Manager of Technical services to maintain technology roadmap

• Maintains knowledge of integration and web technologies.

• Assists the Director of IT in directing the daily operations and strategic initiatives of the Information Technology Division.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit, select, onboard and train new employees, as applicable

• Provide leadership and effective performance management for each direct report:

o Set goals and communicate performance expectations for direct reports

o Schedule and maintain weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with each direct report to connect with, support, guide, get status updates, provide feedback and identify employee needs

o Provide real-time feedback and document progress, achievements and concerns

o Complete scheduled performance appraisals for each direct report by due date

o Provide appropriate training and development opportunities

• Manage team schedules and workload.

• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policy (including enforcing state-mandated rest break and meal period requirements for non-exempt direct reports)

• Manage capital and expense budget for department

• Ensure organizational health principles are practiced throughout the team, with a focus on behaviors that exemplify OCP's core values of Empathy, Humility and Passion

• Other supervisory duties as required

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors and maintains production systems 24x7 which may require additional efforts during widespread outages and as part of the rotating on-call coverage;

• Actively advances the professional development, training, and mentoring of technology personnel.

• Participates in strategic and cross-departmental initiatives to further OCP's mission and effective operation, including the Operations Management Team, strategic planning, manager collaboration forums, and process improvement teams.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent advanced experience in computer science, marketing communications, or business administration.

• Five or more years of experience managing and leading Agile software development teams.

• Proven success building, motivating and retaining high-performance development teams.

• Experience as a senior level developer with production level experience using integration technologies.

• Advanced experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven knowledge of and experience with commercial software products for ERP, CRM and other enterprise applications.

• Demonstrated ability to think creatively, solve problems, and collaborate to find solutions.

• Advanced analytical skills dealing with complex process/data problems and implementing innovative solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Jira or similar issue and project tracking system.

• Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring technical candidates

• Strengths in keeping projects within their agreed-upon scope, communicating clearly and consistently with the project team about what's in-scope and what's not.

• Strong organizational skills, setting project priorities, organizing tasks, and keeping the team moving forward in both onsite and remote work environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Five or more years of experience with commercial software products for ERP, CRM and other enterprise applications.

• Experience with integration platforms.

• Experience with Business Central , Dynamics CRM, or NetSuite ERP systems.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Estimated starting pay between $127,400 - 132,600.
