Sacred Heart Church in downtown Atlanta announces an opening for a Director of Outreach Ministry to be filled by August 1. This position will be responsible for the development and coordination of parish outreach ministries, some which have their origin at Sacred Heart and others which interact with existing agencies in the Atlanta area, and the direction and training of volunteers with regard these programs. He/she should also have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills. A degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or other related field is highly desirable. Knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable but not required.
