JOB DETAILS
St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church seeks a full-time Music Director. The ideal candidate is a mature Catholic with education, experience and a proven gift for leading a multifaceted music program. The candidate will, in coordination with the Pastor, plan and provide the sacred music for all the liturgies including regular scheduled weekend masses, holiday and special service music in accordance with liturgical guidelines. Candidate will be responsible for rehearsals and cantor training, as well as, recruiting, auditioning and directing the Adult Choir, Life Teen Choir and other musical groups, as required and supervising the organization and direction of instrumental groups. Select and purchase music, worship and music resources, musical instruments and equipment and should be able to play the piano and organ.
