Job Description

Bishop McGuinness Catholic High school is seeking a qualified and experienced high school counselor for the 2024-2025 school year. The high school counselor will promote student success, provide support services, and respond to identified student needs, as well as addressing academic and socioemotional concerns. The successful candidate will also be responsible for college readiness development for all students and will assist in freshman enrollment including course selection for incoming students and supporting transition from middle school to high school. Communication skills are required with parents as they seek guidance and support of their student's needs. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required. A master's degree in School Counseling, or a related field is required, in addition to School Counselor state certification. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
