Middle School Teacher

Job Description

Holy Family Classical Academy is currently seeking a qualified candidate(s) to join our Middle School Teaching Department. This full-time position would teach some combination of classes ranging from Science, Latin, Classical Studies, Music and Religion. A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, classroom experience and strong interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of the pedagogical skills a Catholic Classical Academy demands. All Holy Family faculty demonstrate Christian maturity, affirm our Academy Mission Statement and desire to shepherd students' hearts.
This position will have the responsibility of teaching a few different classes, creating lesson plans and assignments based on the established curriculum and upload grades to our teacher - parent portal. While maintaining a positive attitude, the candidate should adhere to the Truths of the Catholic Faith in all matters.

Duties:
Support the Mission of Holy Family Classical Academy.
Daily instruction of a combination of subjects across the 6th -8th Grade Levels.
Support and adhere to the Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school.
Knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Knowledge of subjects taught, Classical instructional methods and strategies, and curriculum differentiation.
Knowledge of child development, learning, and behavior.
Provide appropriate material and resources for students to engage in learning.
Use effective instructional methods and models according to professional standard practice.
Maintain current and accurate records according to school policies.
