Salary range: 30,000-40,000

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Hold a valid Colorado State Teacher's License endorsed in the area of assignment - e.g., Elementary Education, etc., or working towards certification
• Demonstrate expertise in the subject area

Performance Responsibilities:
• Share in the Catholic religious mission of the school.
• Teach in a manner consistent with the academic, social, moral, and religious teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Student-centered and student-focused.
• Responsible for organizing innovative games and challenges that promote physical activity among all students in grades K-8. The goal is to develop motor skills, physical development, proper exercise, and eating habits among all students. The teacher must be knowledgeable about healthy life practices and use relevant situations every day to teach these practices.
• Use a variety of appropriate teaching strategies, instructional materials/activities, and teaching modes to accommodate a variety of learning styles and diocesan curriculum requirements.
• Create a positive classroom environment by teaching and modeling Catholic values and virtues.
• Excellent collaborative/learning skills.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Excellent organizational and academic skills.
• Energetic, creative, innovative, and flexible to provide physical activities for students from multiple grade levels.
• Must work well within the Unified Catholic School system.
• Create and adapt lesson plans to address the needs of the students.
• Serve as Athletic Director, which includes coaching, organizing gym use, scheduling games, oversee concession stand.
Summary of Additional Expectations:
• Attend all meetings, school graduations, and/or training as required outside of a normal contractual day.
• A genuine love for what you do and the families you serve.

Experience: Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged children preferred.
