Maintenance Staff Member

Job Description

Overview:
This maintenance staff member will have primary responsibility for daily cleaning and light maintenance of the Church building and Parish reception rooms including the sanctuary, lobby, meeting rooms, kitchen, storerooms, and bathrooms. This person will assist with other responsibilities on the Holy Trinity campus as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning of Church Building and Reception Rooms:
• Keep all floor surfaces clean using broom, dust mop, wet mop, carpet cleaner, and/or vacuum
• Dust/clean all building surfaces including windows, glass doors, window ledges, cabinets, lobby tables, and door frames
• Empty trash cans, restock paper and soap products
• Clean all bathrooms including sinks, countertops, urinals, toilets, mirrors. Sanitize door handles and faucet handles.
• Clean kitchen including sinks, counter tops, trash cans, ovens and refrigerators.
• Clean and organize janitorial closets and order products

Maintenance of Church Building:
• Set up tables, chairs, easels, and podiums as needed for events
• Replace interior light bulbs and clean lenses
• Assist with liturgical season decoration
• Assist with snow and ice removal
• Assist with pew repair
• Clean and repair vacuum

Other:
• Assist with other campus needs at direction of Business Manager or Director of Maintenance
• Interact with parishioners and others visiting the Holy Trinity campus. Assist them as needed.

Physical requirements:
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to climb and use ladders
• Able to operate the following equipment - Mop, broom, dust mop, vacuum, floor scrubber, carpet cleaner, squeegee, pole extension, leaf blower, snow blower, basic hand tools
