Work Hours/Days:
Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Three years administrative experience required.
Other Minimum Requirements:
Type 60 wpm. Advanced skills with MS Office including Access required; familiarity with Adobe software helpful. Good working knowledge of Catholic beliefs and practices essential. Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced office. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Brief Summary of Duties:
Will provide general administrative support for the Director of Communications and to a limited extent, departmental staff to include: maintaining databases using Access and Outlook distribution lists, assist Director in coordinating communications with other offices, editing and proofing materials, manage TV Mass viewer relations including correspondence, database and mailings, manage and fulfill requests for materials, create daily news clips file for senior staff and maintain archive of news clips, submit check requests and transmittals, coordinate mailings, manage office supplies, answering phones, research and responding to inquiries and posting information to the website.
