Catholic Charities in Toledo Ohio is seeking an Executive Director that can provide leadership to oversee, manage and expand the delivery of quality programs; lead fundraising efforts; maximize services with effective budget planning; work collaboratively and effectively with the board of directors and diocesan leadership ensuring the continuation of the local church's response to the social Gospel of Jesus throughout the Diocese of Toledo.
Catholic Charities has an operating budget of $2.6 million and has 50 full and part time employees. This position is a member of the Bishop's Cabinet and includes oversight of the Catholic Club Youth Center. Social Justice and legislative advocacy required at local, state and national level.
An ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in a senior level, organizational leadership position, preferably in the area of human services or a not-for-profit agency. A practicing Catholic with knowledge of and commitment to Gospel values, Catholic moral and social teachings and Church structure. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in: strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, budgets, leadership, employee relations, management, collaboration with a board of directors and networking with other non-for-profit agencies.
An undergraduate degree is required and a Masters Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, MBA or related field is preferred.
