Introduction
The Mother and Child Campaign is seeking an individual who wishes to remain in the USA but can work for the M&CC in Ireland on a part-time, project basis. The position is web development and design. This is an exciting opportunity for talented individual
to work on projects to make a real difference. You will be part of a motivated and innovative team who will collaborate on new ideas and opportunities. We have worked successfully like this in the past and communication is easy now with e-mail and skype.
- Proficient in database development and has experience in web page design, XHTML, scripting languages, object-oriented programming, PHP, ASP.net, MySQL, CSS & cross browser compatibility issues
- Able to provide CMS based websites for easy updating
- Experience in graphic design and layout and design principles is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing,
- An excellent eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated project management skills / results-oriented
- The ability to work as part of team and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure
- At least 3 years experience as a web developer
- Knowledge of and familiarity of all the latest web development software, languages and techniques
- A proven track record in producing quality on-line work
