JOB DETAILS
Under the supervision of the Director of Religious Education, the associate will:
- Student Registration and Record Management
1. Process Religious Education Program registrations using Microsoft Access to develop database
2. Create/update student record office files with:
3. Develop student/family e-mail distribution database for various
applications, i.e. emergency closings, meeting and event reminders, newsletter distribution, etc.
- Tuition and Fees Processing
- Catechist and Volunteer Processing
Create, maintain files for all volunteers to ensure compliance with Archdiocesan requirements, including:
- Catechist Training
1.Work with DRE to develop and offer annual training toward certification of volunteer catechists and other parishioners
2. Provide age-appropriate training lessons to catechists covering required information for students under the ADW Child Protection Policy. Track and document compliance
- Substitute Teaching
1. Develop a trained substitute list for Religious Education classes
2. Responsible for substituting in any class/grade if a trained
substitute is not available.
- Maintain Sacramental Records (RCIC, Profession of Faith, Penance, Eucharist, Confirmation)
- General Administrative Duties as required
