JOB DETAILS
Qualified candidates must demonstrate compassion for and a commitment to improving the lives of the elderly, including an understanding of gerontology and trends in aging. Knowledge of Council on Accreditation and contract standards (i.e. MARC, DOA) a plus. This position is responsible for the daily administrative, financial, clinical, and overall aspects of the following programs: Senior In-Home Services, Seniors at Work, Senior Express transportation program, Senior Nutrition Sites, Viebridge, and Senior Care Ministry. Position requires high motivation to expand existing programs, create new programs and secure funding for service area growth. Candidate must have a collaborative and participatory leadership style which demonstrates a respect for the diversity of talents and gifts of others. Five to ten years of experience in social or human services with the majority of this experience in senior services. Masters Degree in Social Services, Human Services, or Public Administration required.
