- Law degree, preferably with an emphasis in not-for-profits
- Licensed to practice in Illinois
- Versed in Catholic morals and ethics
- Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience
- Ability to work independently
The Legal Director will be responsible for managing all of the legal issues associated with the ADF. The Legal Director must be able to perform the relevant legal related tasks associated with running a charitable foundation including, but not limited to, attaining and maintaining nonprofit status, preparing, filing and maintaining articles of incorporation documents. The Legal Director will also help with the research, drafting and review of all necessary legal documentation.
We need help with legal issues for a growing Catholic foundation startup. We are seeking an experienced volunteer who can work from home and would like to help us grow. This position could become a paid position in the future as our funding grows. If you have experience writing grants, and raising money for worthy causes then we could use your help.
