JOB DETAILS
The Diocese of Tucson is seeking applicants for the position of Chancellor. Among the Chancellor duties will be: administration of the Office of Chancellor, assist the Bishop on canonical matters, advise the Bishop on personnel issues, prepare and manage the budget, oversee diocesan records, coordinate annual reports from parishes, work with the Office of Child, Adolescent and Adult Protection, represent the Bishop as appropriate, work with other diocesan offices and serve as Mission Director for the diocese. Additionally, the individual will serve as Director of the Tribunal and supervise a two-person tribunal staff. Applicants must be in full communion with the Church. A licentiate of doctorate in canon law and /or a Masters' degree in Theology is preferred. Also required are five years of management experience in the Church and ten years experience in Church leadership as pastor or other leadership role. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred. The position will remain open until filled.
