JOB DETAILS
The Diocese of Springfield is seeking a Director for Advancement for Holyoke Catholic High School. The Director for Advancement at Holyoke Catholic High School is responsible for leading the school's advancement program and securing the financial resources required for providing financial assistance to students, addressing operating expenses, and capital projects. The director is a member of the school leadership team and reports to the Secretary for Institutional Advancement for the Diocese of Springfield and the school's principal. He/she will provide staff support to the advancement committee of the Board of Trustees and assists the alumni and parents' associations by coordinating their activities in support of the school's advancement program.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred -- Five to seven years of comprehensive development work, with at least two years experience at a senior level. Knowledge of annual giving, leadership giving, donor management and prospect research and capital campaigns preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to make oral presentations and produce written proposal reports are essential. Experience in an academic and/or diocesan setting preferred. The ability to understand, create and nurture successful relationships with donors, prospective donors, alumni, parents, faculty, administrators and trustees. -- Must be an active and practicing Catholic.
