Summary: The Archdiocese of Galveston -- Houston is seeking an Internal Auditor to conduct operational and financial audits for management to assess effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations and compliance with policies and procedures at parishes and schools on the greater Houston area with no overnight travel. Also assist Director of Auditing with special projects, investigations, and contractor audits. This is a 40 hours a week position that is Benefits and Pension eligible. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree is required, with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related degree. Successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of current auditing experience, excellent analytical and communication skills, and computer competency.
