Anchorage, Alaska surrounded by five mountain ranges with national parks in its backyard, with some of the world's best hiking & fishing is also home to a substantial grizzly (when not sleeping), moose and salmon population.
Holy Rosary Academy with a Top 50 listing by the prestigious Acton Institute's National Catholic High School Honor Roll Project for the past four consecutive years is seeking to fill two math/science positions.
Ideal candidates should be able to do some cross discipline teaching [Seminar, Theology, Composition].
An accredited NAPCIS school, with the largest number of Plenary Catholic Certified teachers of any school in the United States, the Academy features a trivium-based liberal (classical) curriculum. HRA's salary scale runs from the mid 20s to the mid 50s based on teaching experience and educational level. Medical, Dental & Life insurance are included in the benefit package along with matching 401k. On campus housing with a modest rent can also be part of contract negotiations.
Of course, suitable candidates must be practicing Catholics and willing to take and sign Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and a Profession of the Catholic Faith.
