The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is seeking a Cooridor Development Manager to work within the Office for Community Development at the Cardinal Bevilacqua Community Center.
Masters Degree and related experience in economic and community development. Must have excellent written and communication skills. Duties include: coordinating and implementing the creation of a comprehensive neighborhood plan for economic and community development initiatives at targeted area of Kensington Ave/Visitation Parish, collaborating with community residents, institutional stake holders and small business owners to address challenges to living and working conditions in the 2400-2600 blocks of Kensington Ave and nearby target areas; developing and implementing strategies to encourage and support revitalization in targeted area, providing technical assistance to local business owners and residents, collaborating with local providers to develop affordable housing and capital projects in target area, overseeing contract services, reporting property code violations, managing multi-year grant requirements and applications, assisting with fundraising efforts, and supervising Cooridor Maintenance Worker and Security Patrol Officer.
