The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is currently seeking a full time Assistant Director for the Catholic Institute for Evangelization in Philadelphia.
MA in Theology, pastoral experience and experience in formation programs required. Bilingual English/Spanish. Availability to work nights and weekends according to need. Strong organizational and communication skills are imperative. Ability to work independently and with people at all levels.
Coordinate and implement the certification of catechists in Hispanic Ministry according to the guidelines of the Archdiocesan Catechetical Office. Support the work of DREs in Hispanic Ministry and organize annual gatherings. Obtain and organize materials and resources for catechetical formation. Maintain, organize and update information and resources of catechists and catechetical material. Organize and implement formation workshops for RCIA leaders in Hispanic Ministry. Assist Director in coordinating the internal affairs and day-to-day operations of the Institute and assessing the ministerial needs of the Hispanic Faithful in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
