JOB DETAILS
St. Paul Catholic Church seeks a full time Director of Stewardship and Development. Applicant would be responsible for the development and planning of Stewardship programs appropriate to the needs of the parish for both the short and long term. Responsibilities include: coordinating the training of parishioners and, as required, non-parishioners to participate in these programs, managing the execution of programs, evaluating results and reporting progress and accomplishments to the Pastor and appropriate councils. A degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field is necessary. Minimum three years experience in fundraising with demonstrated success is required. Skils include: knowledge of modern fundraising techniques applicable to charitable and religious organizations, knowledge of the "Catholic Stewardship" concept, highly developed oral and written communication skills, ability to interact easily with people of highly diverse social, education, and financial backgrounds, ability to think strategically and creatively, strong planning and organizational skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite.
