Position Summary: Ministering high quality leadership training and skill building to those in leadership in the Roman Catholic Community, USA
The Learning Leader is responsible for working with the Board of Directors, Mission Implementation Team, and CLI volunteers and strategic partners to develop and meet the strategic plan objectives for leadership development programs. This includes program design and fulfillment, and all associated functions to support the growth of Catholic Leadership Institute's efforts to serve the priests, laity and parishes of the Roman Catholic Church.
Recruitment Requirements:
1. Experience:
- Highly skilled professional with 5-10+ years of training in the field of leadership development and training
- Facilitation of learning for groups and individuals at all organizational levels, and within varied settings.
- Leadership experience in organizations, or demonstrated ability to achieve results through others preferred.
2. Skills: Professional skills and accomplishments in client management, project coordination, planning and program fulfillment. Highly developed people skills; outstanding communication skills. Thorough understanding of Catholic parish life and ministry. Fluent in Spanish a plus. Working knowledge with Microsoft products required.
3. Education : A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, Theology or related fields. Master's Degree preferred.
4. Temperament: Ability to work effectively with diocesan and parish clients, faculty members, volunteer boards, donors, prospects and colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Travel to client Diocese (domestic) to deliver Good Leaders, Good ShepherdsSM; a two-year leadership training curriculum.
2. Deliver training with the understanding of becoming a Master Trainer in all modules and half-day sessions that support Good Leaders, Good Shepherds -- including other training curriculums that will be developed.
3. Commitment to learning and knowing our leadership material and curriculum, and faithfully executing its training design.
4. Work cooperatively and enthusiastically with all those associated with the Catholic Leadership Institute and other strategic relationships.
5. Establish trust, credibility and respect with all priest participants, client dioceses, and other stakeholders as a means to give witness to quality training and meaningful ministry.
6. Other duties as assigned.

- Personal values consistent with the mission and ministry of the Catholic Leadership Institute
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly and nationally--approximately 75% of the time

Salary Range: $78,000-$80,000
