The Catholic Churches of Visalia, including St. Mary's, Holy Family, St. Thomas, San Felipe and proposed St. Charles Borremeo, a clusterer community of parishes has an opening for the position of Parish Administrator/Business Manager. This is a full time position. The successful candidate will assist the pastor and pastoral team along with parish councils in the overall management, organization and business affairs of the parishes. Skills required are: excellent organizational and time management, training, budget development and preparation, long-term planning, accounting, program management, purchasing, customer service and department management. Strong people and team management skills are a must. A four year college degree is preferred with a minimum of seven years experience. An advanced level of skill with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access is necessary. Applicants must be knowledgeable about the Roman Catholic Church, its beliefs, practices, terminology, traditions and structures. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills encouraged.
