JOB DETAILS
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pylesville, MD is seeking a Director of Religious Education to administer and manage all religious education programs for ages pre-school through adult. This position involves oversight of religious education for children from pre-school through high school (including all sacramental preparation programs, such as First Eucharist, First Reconciliation and Confirmation); coordination of RCIA and vacation bible school and developing lay leadership for various ministry roles in Religious Education.
Qualified applicants must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field and previous experience working in religious education or a similar ministry. They must have strong administrative, communication and oreganizational skills and be able to work collaboratively with the parish staff, pastoral team, parishioners and volunteers.
