JOB DETAILS
Sisters of the Holy Names, US-Ontario Province seeks a collaborative, visionary leader for the Convent of the Holy Names in Spokane, Washington. The Convent provides a continuum of care for approximately 60 retired Catholic women religious.
This position reports to the Provincial Team Liaison and has overall responsibility for providing strategic guidance and direction to convent operations. Additionally, the Director is responsible for developing/fostering cooperative partnerships with other local religious communities and community resources in exploring and implementing best practices for elder care/healthcare delivery, and increasing the effectiveness of Convent services to Sisters.
Requires a minimum of 5 years significant management experience in community-based life care community or elder services environment, with a BS or MS degree in health care administration or related field. Experience with change management process and ability to lead change positively and enthusiastically; ability to provide strategic leadership and management in a health care setting; knowledge of/sensitivity to needs of the aging and women's health concerns. Experience working with faith-based and/or nonprofit organization is a plus.
