Summary:
St. Cecilia Parish is seeking an experienced accompanist/organist for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday Mass as well as additional special liturgies. The successful applicant will serve under the choir director, accompanying an SATB choir + cantor and providing preludes/postludes and other incidental music year-round.
Musical skills:
Accompanying Piano proficiency
Organ proficiency
Ability to follow, flexibility
Sight reading
Improvisation
Organ literature for preludes/postludes/other solos Familiarity with the Mass desirable
Familiarity with Catholic liturgical music desirable

Choir Background:
The 10:45 a.m. choir numbers 16+ voices led by a professional director, and sings a wide variety of music from Renaissance and Baroque to contemporary composers. The sanctuary has a Rodgers 925 Oxford analogue organ with 3 manuals and 3 ranks, and a Roland HP-555G electronic piano.
