JOB DETAILS
A Masters degree in Education and/or and administrative credential is preferred. Have excellent written and oral communication skills. Assists in finalizing staffing needs and faculty assignmrnts and the building of the master schedule.
Assists in the development, evaluation, and administration of teachers and the instructional program.
Assists in professional development/in-service programs for faculty.
Works with Admissions Committee in review and selection of student applicants
Works with Admissions Director, Department Chairs, and the Counseling Department in scheduling of new students.
Chairs Academic Review Board.
Supervise and evaluates the Registrar.
Member of Core Administration.
Knowledge of methodology, "best practices" in teacching, standards-based curriculum, grading and assessment, and Powerschool are all required as is computer proficiency.
This is a 3/5 postion. Work year is 190-200 days;the start date is August 1, 2008.
