JOB DETAILS
St. Mary's Catholic Church, a 1200-family Parish in Northwest Georgia seeks a Youth Ministry Coordinator to serve middle school and high school youth and their spiritual and social needs through programs, activities, retreats, and the training and coordination of a volunteer adult team for support. The Youth Ministry Coordinator will also assist the Parish Director of Religious Education with special events and projects as assigned.
Candidates should be fun-loving and grounded in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Faith; practicing Catholic; highly motivated, energetic individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Strongly prefer a degreed individual with a clear understanding of / experience in Church teaching and experience working with youth. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; computer proficiency; experience in faith formation and liturgy. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
This is a full-time position which requires a flexible work schedule and may include evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight situations.
