JOB DETAILS
Western New York parish seeks full-time Coordinator of Youth Ministry (CYM). St. Christopher Parish in Tonawanda, NY is a large, vibrant, suburban Catholic community seeking to expand its ministry with youth. The CYM will develop and implement a comprehensive parish ministry for young people from 6th through 12th grades. This includes:
ˇ high school and middle school gatherings
ˇ service and justice activities
ˇ outreach and evangelization efforts
ˇ leadership development for youth and adult volunteers
ˇ engaging youth in the life and mission of the parish.
The CYM will work with the existing Youth Ministry Leadership Team and collaborate with the Pastor, Parish Staff, Faith Formation and Elementary School.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field, and previous experience working with youth. Must be an active, practicing Catholic with demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Church.
