Director of Annual Giving -- The John Paul II Newman Center is Catholic Campus Ministry serving the University of Illinois -- Chicago. The Newman Center, located adjacent to campus, provides Mass, educational and leadership opportunities, retreats, service projects and fellowship activities. In an effort to expand and enhance its outreach to alumni, parents, friends, and other constituencies, the Newman Center seeks to expand its comprehensive development and fundraising program. The new Director of Annual Giving will work with the Associate Executive Director to expand the recurring gift and annual giving program. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and demonstrated communication skills, specifically the ability to write concise and effective material for a development program. Further, the successful candidate will possess superb verbal communication skills and technical abilities using the latest computer technology. The successful candidate should offer a professional presentation and the ability to ignite passion on the part of those interested in Catholic campus ministry and its mission. Providing strong, creative and energetic leadership the Director of Annual Giving is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Executive Director.
