Job Description
St. Theresa Catholic School is a parochial Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston committed to the ideals of Classical Catholic education. Our School and Parish have embarked on an ambitious building and educational plan which entails significant fundraising efforts. Our Development Director should be a person who fully embraces and knows how to communicate our distinctive educational philosophy to perspective donors. While we are eager to develop relationships with local business and philanthropists in the greater Houston-Texas area, we are also desirous to connect to prospective donors outside of our area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: donor cultivation, major gifts, planned giving, annual appeals, parish stewardship and grant writing. In addition to working closely with the Principal of the school and Pastor of the Parish, the Development Director will also provide collaborative leadership to two of our annual fundraisers (GALA and a 5 K Run).
