Job Advertisement for New Position: Faith in Action Coordinator. St. Mildred Catholic Church is seeking a versatile social service professional to coordinate its emergency assistance program, called Faith in Action. Responsibilities for this part-time position will include client screening and assessment, networking with parishes and other community organizations, managing restricted funding from the parish and other community organizations, helping with fundraising for donations, and overseeing the Clothing Center. A degree in social work is preferred; however, hours of working experience in comparable area will be acceptable. Must have an ability to work independently and office skills (including computer, internet use, filing, book-keeping) are necessary. Bilingual skills would be helpful but not necessary.
