The Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis is currently accepting applications for an exceptional individual with "hands on" management and fundraising experience to serve as President. This individual will provide the necessary leadership and management for Catholic Charities, the agencies of the Catholic Charities of St. Louis Federation, and will be the Archbishop's representative to the larger Catholic Charities Social Services Network of the Archdiocese.
To be considered, a candidate must be an active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and well grounded in Catholic life and social teaching, capable of inspiring others to become involved in the Mission of Catholic Charities.
Candidates should have an advanced degree with at least ten years of executive level organizational leadership experience. Specific background should include: (1) leadership skills necessary to seamlessly tie together the separate missions of the Federation agencies with the central Mission of Catholic Charities; (2) Leadership ability to gain the trust and respect of highly talented Executive Directors to form a unified team; (3) communication skills and major fundraising experience; (4) ability to maximize services with limited resources along with effective budget planning; and, (5) ability to recognize and relate to a dual reporting relationship working collaboratively with the Catholic Charities Board of Directors and Archdiocesan leadership.
