Do you have a passion for the internet? Interested in learning how to market websites online?
Orange County internet retailer of Catholic books and gifts is currently seeking a part time online marketing intern. This internship will allow you to challenge yourself in a creative environment where you work to improve website ranking positions and earn valuable marketing skills in the process.
The main duties for this position consist of building links to our site in order to build a strong online presence and developing persuasive, compelling content aimed at driving customer loyalty. You must have a real passion/interest for online marketing as this position offers fantastic opportunities for somebody looking to learn more about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and e-commerce in general.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of keyword research, competitor analysis and reporting
- Proven ability to develop quality content for the web and other media
- Provide writing samples demonstrating persuasive copy writing skills, marketing writing experience and a strong understanding of writing for the web
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Compensation is $10 per hour. Applicants should be able to dedicate 20-30 hours per week. College students are welcome to apply. Given the nature of the products we sell, a background in Catholicism will be helpful but not required.
