Job Description

Position: Executive Director USCMA

Organizational Mission & Role of Executive Director

The United States Catholic Mission Association (USCMA) is a community of faith leaders engaged in networking, formation, and advocacy for God's mission.

The role of the Executive Director is to serve as chief executive officer and work with the board and staff to advance its mission and vision. Additionally, the Executive Director is the chief communication officer for the USCMA. This position is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
Develop strategic activities in networking, formation, and advocacy for God's mission with the Board of Directors.

Relationship & Collaborative Leadership
Cultivate relationships with mission-related organizations.
Grow, expand, and manage membership and engagement.
Identify Fund development, Donor growth, and grant writing.
Identify, develop, and improve programs and services for the members.

Administrative Leadership
Serve as Chief Fiscal Agent
Develop the annual budget and ensure its proper stewardship.
Lead and manage staff and contract workers.
Manage the daily operations.

Position Requirements:

• Catholic in good standing with knowledge of Church teachings, structures, and organizations.
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in the Catholic Church
• Mission experience either in the U.S. or internationally.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, including public speaking.
• Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office and Accounting Software.
• Ability to travel.
Preferred
• Master's degree in theology, missiology, or Church/non-profit management.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly desirable.
