Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises and manages all things related to accounting, facilities and technology and provides the Principal with regular updates related to these areas of responsibility

• Serves as a member of the Administrative Team and as a member of the Board Finance Committee

• Manages finance and accounting operations
- Establishes/follows sound accounting and bookkeeping practices and policies in consultation with the Board Finance Committee and Principal
- Works with the Board Finance Committee to prepare the capital budget
- Works with Staff, Department Chairs, and Administration to establish the annual operating budget
- Prepares monthly financial reports, budget to actual variance, and cash flow budget for capital and operating accounts for the Board of Trustees and Principal
- Prepares capital and operating forecasts for use in financial management decisions
- Meets regularly with Department Chairs/Heads of Offices regarding the status of budgets
- Partners with advancement regarding the collection of capital campaign pledge payments
- Participates in closing the school's financial records at end of year
- Works with the Board Treasurer to complete the annual audit
- Prepares and files the annual 990 Report
- Maintains the General Ledger for the Corporation
- Oversees the Tuition Assistance Committee
- Monitors the status of tuition accounts and, as needed, meets with families who have delinquent accounts
- Informs Dean of Academics, Registrar, and/or Director of Admissions of financial holds for re-enrollment or the release of transcripts

• Manages human resource services
- Administers benefits for employees
- Insures employees are educated and informed on HR policies
- Updates employees on new regulations or policy updates related to employment law
- Manages leave and time off for employees
- Responsible for new employee orientation & paperwork
- Ensures compliance with Safe Environment Policies and Procedures
- Responsible for the posting of open positions & scheduling interviews

• Manages insurance coverage of the school
• Oversees/coordinates school lunch program/cafeteria services
• Supervises the Information Technology team
• Supervises the Facilities team

QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in Accounting or professional training in financial management
• 2-5 years of experience in management
• Knowledge and experience in 501(c)3 accounting, tax and finances, tuition programs, payroll, property tax, 990 filings, and capital project management
• Prior facilities management experience
• Working knowledge of employment law, sound hiring practices, and administration of benefits
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong interpersonal and professional relationship-building skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Knowledgeable and supportive in word and action of the school's mission, vision and educational philosophy
• Implement mission of the school through witness
• Represent the school in a positive way on and off the school campus

Frassati Catholic High School is a co-educational high school administered by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia (Nashville Dominicans). Frassati Catholic opened with 46 students in 2013 and now serves 319 students in grades 9-12.
