Job Description
St. Benedict Catholic Church located in a northern suburb of Charleston, SC is a parish that celebrates the Vatican II spirit and is seeking a full time Pastoral Associate. Flex work week including nights & weekends. The Pastoral Associate provides leadership and administration of specific areas of parish life working closely with parishioners, volunteers and staff.
Areas to be included: Parish Ministry; Liturgy; Sacramental Preparation (Baptism, RCIA, Marriage, Funeral); Adult Faith Formation; Pastoral Care.
A graduate degree in Theology or equivalent is required. Five years experience in parish leadership is preferred. Strong communication and computer skills required.
