Job Description
Under the protection of Jesus and the Blessed Mother, and guided by the Holy Spirit, St. Mary Catholic School is a faith centered academic community that encourages service to God and others and strives to form the hearts, minds and souls of our students in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Faith.Job Summary: Responsible for guiding hearts, minds and souls of St. Mary Catholic School Students toward Our Lord through the teaching of Spanish
Rate of Pay: $12,500 - $55,000 Salary/year per the AoD Teacher Pay Scale
Benefits: Part-time employees are not offered benefits other than what is required by law; Worker's Compensation, FMLA unpaid leave, CO HFWA: 1 Hour of Sick Time per 30 hours worked
Normal Working Hours: 12-25 Hours per Week during the school year. Schedule of days to be determined.
Reports to: The Pastor, the Principal, and their representatives
Duties:
• Teach, lead, and guide St. Mary School Students to Our Lord through the subject of Spanish
• Prepare Lesson plans designed to implement stated goals
• Collaborate with colleagues to establish student performance expectations that are clear and consistent
• Maintain an efficient, functional and pleasant leaning environment that sets a high standard of behavior and is consistent and fair to all students
• Support and enforce school-wide policies and rules
• Effectively and respectfully communicate and maintain a positive relationship with parents, students, the Parish community, the principal, and other staff members
• Model an attitude of service
• Be timely with reporting of grades and incidents
• Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Principal
Qualifications:
Must be a Catholic in Good Standing
Must have or obtain within 2 years of hiring a valid Colorado Teaching License
