Job Description

Saint Veronica Catholic School is seeking a full-time Music teacher for 2024-2025 school year.

Candidates must possess or be eligible for certification/licensure in Virginia or through the VCEA.

Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, strong classroom management skills, and practice communicating with parents. We seek dynamic teachers who inspire students and who work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues in various curricular areas and divisions.
Candidates should be passionate about teaching and have a love for the students.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Teaching experience preferred.

Major duties and responsibilities:
• Create daily and long-range lesson plans
• Communicate constructively with parents
• Complete report cards professionally and punctually
• Plan, prepare and lead school Christmas Pageant
• Lead a student choir
• Coordinate with Band for Christmas and Spring Concerts
• Plan music for school Masses and Graduation
• Pursue professional development opportunities both individually
and collaboratively
• Represent the school in a professional manner
• Other duties as assigned
