Job Description

GENERAL MANAGER
The Guadalupe Radio Network has a position open for a: Full-time General Manager for an onsite position in Houston, TX. Not remote-eligible.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• High quality leadership skills with the ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of individuals and Catholic organizations.
• Good Public speaking skills along with computer literacy, attention to detail, task oriented and goals focused with an ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to produce and lead local live weekly radio show
• Ability to organize a large volunteer community
• Ability to resolve problems and conflicts effectively
• Faithful Catholic in good standing in your Parish
• Knowledge of financial reporting for GRN funds and donations

QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability and experience in fundraising and building community support and engagement
• Experience managing a volunteer-driven not-for-profit organization
• High quality leadership skills with the ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of individuals and Catholic community organizations
• Parish Outreach with some Parish Presentations on the weekends
• Demonstrated proficiency in office productivity software
• Ability and experience in fundraising and building community support and engagement

FUNDRAISING
• Assists Executive Director on all fundraising activities including on-air, outreach, and special events
• Cultivates relationships with local Catholic Parishes, Catholic organizations and businesses to maximize fundraising resources and expand KSHJ presence in the Houston, Texas area.
• Collaborate with Executive Director on development planning for acquiring new Sponsor/Underwriters and donor cultivation and recognition

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
• Actively involved in the community on behalf of KSHJ
• Provides volunteers with regular communication and updates to cultivate a great relationship.

VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT
• Regularly participates in all KSHJ meetings and in Volunteer Committee meetings
• Assist in facilitating positive staff-volunteer working relationships
• Utilizes the talents and connections within the volunteer community for station projects
• Oversee the Volunteer Ambassador Project for marketing KSHJ
