Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in the content area of geometry which guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Pay depends on certification and experience.
JOB DUTIES
-Develop and maintain the curriculum to meet developmental goals and instructional activities as identified by CBA and NYS.
-Prepare daily unit and lesson materials based on the curriculum put forth by CBA and NYS Next Generation Learning Standards.
-Manage the classroom in a way that provides a safe, thriving, and respectful learning environment for all students.
-Grade assignments and assessments in a timely manner.
-Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student work and progress.
-Maintain communication with parents/guardians and students regarding challenges, upcoming assignments, and major papers/projects.
-Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis.
-Attend all CBA faculty meetings, trainings, in-services, retreats, conferences, Open House, Honors Night, and Graduation.
-Assist with other related and relevant tasks as identified and assigned by administrative staff and the director of guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Well-suited for the ministry of Catholic/Lasallian education.
-Master's degree in education or related field (preferred); Two or more years experience preferred.
-Desire and ability to work collaboratively with the teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, and parents.
-Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,120.00 - $62,550.00 per year
