Job Description

Live-In Assistant Facility Administrator in Slinger, WI!
This is a unique opportunity for someone who prefers a quiet, rural locale and is adept at many facets of maintenance and administration. Must be able to work independently to complete various groundskeeping and general building maintenance and administrative assignments. Ideal candidate would be mechanically inclined; capable of working flexible hours as needed; be a team player, and have general knowledge and experience in all phases of property maintenance. A valid driver's license and ability to operate yard care equipment is a must. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee contract work for large repair jobs, servicing of gas range fire suppression system and fire extinguishers; tree removal service; water well repairs, etc.
• Oversee volunteer worker assignments
• Service air cleaner filters/humidifier panels
• Maintain and clean kitchen appliances/areas
• Perform regular janitorial tasks to maintain overall cleanliness of the property
• Removal of brush/debris from grounds
• Plowing/sanding (if own a pickup truck with plow attachment) and timely shoveling of snow (seasonally)
• Pruning (seasonally); clearing trail path to maintain passability
• Prepare trash and recycle for scheduled collection days
• Interior and exterior painting as needed
• Repairing doors, windows, curtain rods, tables, sinks, toilets, etc., as needed
• Troubleshoot malfunctions of various kinds in and around the property

This a great opportunity for someone for whom practicing the faith is important, works well independently, has a can-do attitude and is able to change focus quickly as needs arise. The property is located at a remote, rural religious facility. Housing and utilities are provided as a condition of employment. We are seeking someone willing to live on-site and perform various tasks as required. Training is provided and on-going support from religious who live on the
property.

Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Ability to work outdoors in the heat of the summer, the cold of the winter and everything in between
• Must be able to understand and carry out instructions
• Must be able to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations
• Must be pleasant, professional, dependable and punctual
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
• Self-motivation and strong attention to detail a must
• Ability to perform general maintenance
• Must have own, reliable transportation!
The position primarily focuses on building administration and upkeep, and grounds maintenance, yet there is plenty of room to learn a variety of skills and expand to more advanced responsibilities.
