Job Description

Woman's New Life Clinic invites applications for a full-time Development Director, based out of our Baton Rouge office.
This position oversees all aspects of fund development within the organization. Works with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Development Department staff to ensure sufficient funds to realize Woman's New Life Clinic's capital and programmatic goals and objectives, including fundraising, grants management, donor database management, and corporate and individual donor solicitations. Lives in the Baton Rouge community.

Applicant must have a commitment to the Christian and pro-life principles that are the foundation of our work and be willing to work within a multidisciplinary team environment. This individual must be organized with exceptional planning skills and follow-through, have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preparation and Knowledge:
• College degree
• Previous experience in fundraising/grant and proposal writing
• CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credential preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to prepare funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner
• Strong interpersonal and speaking skills conducive to networking, building relationships and making presentations
• Self-motivated individual, detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player. High level of energy and time commitment for demanding events including some weekend and evening hours
• Knowledge and expertise in database systems, tracking donors, analyzing data, proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain accurate records, databases, reporting, etc.
• Demonstrates commitment to the organization's mission, vision, core operational values, and core beliefs

Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
