Job Description

Christ the King High School is seeking a full time science teacher for the 2024-25 school year.
• Living Environment
• Earth Science
• Chemistry

The ideal candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in a science discipline or closely related field
from an accredited college
• A NYS teaching certification in secondary education OR current
enrollment in a certification program (Preferred)
• Familiarity with NYS science curriculum, lab requirements and
NYS Regents standards in the science disciplines
• Knowledge of current educational practices and technology
(SMART, iOS, internet etc.)
• Ability to incorporate aforementioned technology into planning
and teaching
• Willingness to integrate and uphold the authentic teachings of
the Catholic Faith in their respective discipline.
• Willingness to coordinate extracurricular activities (Preferred)
• Teaching experience (Preferred)

Salary commensurate with level of education and experience.

Christ the King High School is a Catholic school located in Middle Village, Queens. The school services students from grade 9 to grade 12.
